SASH WINDOWS BATH
We have been working in Bath for over 20 years on both the standard domestic windows as well as the Grade I and Grade II listed buildings found in this UNESCO World Heritage Centre. Over this time we have developed the most efficient way to restore your sash windows to their former glory with the emphasis on providing just what they need to make them structurally sound, functional and draught free.
The Georgian windows found in the centre of the city are generally in a good condition having been well maintained over time. A feature of your windows is the relatively rare attribute of not having timber sills which means that they experience less structural rot.
Your sash windows are already 100 - 250 years old and are made of timbers that are no longer available thus we want to retain as much as physically possible and limit the use of fillers that will work free in a relatively short time. Working to conservation principles we devise individual work schedules for each of your windows aiming to do as little as is necessary to make them structurally sound and functional.
Our small team of carpenters are fully experienced and specifically trained to carry out the individual repair program for each of your windows.
We keep our overheads to an absolute minimum so we can focus on providing quality cost effective services without the 'on costs' that add nothing to the value of your home.
